People. Objects. Moments. Ideals. We lose them, all of us. The loss of her own mother was the point of departure for choreographer Pia Meuthen to reflect with the cast on loss in our lives and the ways in which those losses – or our memories of them – build our identities. The performers plunged into their own experiences to create movement material that was personal, anchored in their own unique (body)stories, and that linked the individual to the universal in a profoundly human performance. The layered scenography thrust the performers into an exploration of the relationship between loss and gravity.
